Neighbourhood Guide |Cour des Petites-Écuries
As you’ve probably noticed, we’re starting to share more about our favourite little spots in Paris, as opposed to our favourite neighbourhoods. Every arrondissement has something great to offer, so it’s our mission to share with you some of our best finds and, hopefully, some new places to discover in the city.
Cour des Petites Écuries is one of those spots that’s a great go-to all year round, but especially during the warmer months! The charming Parisian cobble-stone street courtyard is hidden between the trendy rue Paradis and rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis, and is lined with buzzing bars and a delicious choice of restaurants. The best thing about this place is that you have everything you need, you can even do a mini bar crawl just in this courtyard , and you don’t need to move far on a night out! Having said that, we, of course, have our favourite places to go, so allow us to share these with you.
1 Cour des Petites Écuries, 75010
I may be slightly biased about this restaurant because of the special times I’ve had there, but no one can deny that their pizzas are some of the best in Paris! Every time you step into Lucky Luciano, the vibe is buzzing and the waiting staff welcome you with a friendly smile. The open kitchen means you can see what’s going on behind the scenes and how they create these deliciously authentic Italian pizzas. The menu offers something for everyone and uses only the highest quality ingredients. Our personal favourite is the Al Capone – give it a try on your next visit!
Au Bleu Cerise
6 cour des petites Écuries, 75010
If you’re looking for a cosy, local, and casual bar to have a few drinks with friends after work, then Au Bleu Cerise is the place to go! Recently, the two bars next door to each other have merged to become one with seating both indoors and outdoors. In the summer months people spill onto the cobble-stone streets, beer and wine in hand, enjoying the quaintness of the courtyard and the lively vibe!

Another personal favourite of ours in the Cours des Petites Écuries is Farago, the urban tapas bar. The modern, well lit, and lively restaurant aims to bring people together over food and good wine. The list of creative dishes will leave you spoilt for choice, which is why it’s always best to go in a group so that you can order everything! Don’t forget to order yourself one of their cocktails to finish off, and most important, do NOT forget to order the chocolate bombs for dessert. You will thank us later!

Given the new generation of start ups, a lot of people are working remotely these days and finding their own way in the business world. It’s always useful to have a community and a space to make this happen, and Remix Coworking is exactly that. It’s a place where creatives meet business minded people, and work in harmony. A platform that presents the opportunity to network, integrate, learn, and work amongst others, and facilitate the growth of your project. There is a monthly subscription fee in order to be a member of the Coworking space and a choice of three different spaces in the city.

If you prefer to start your journey down the cour des petites-écuries with an apéritif from a little Corsican épicerie, then this is the place to begin. Sit outside and take in the atmosphere whilst tasting some of the most delicious and fresh produce Corsica has to offer. The price is a little high, but the quality of the cheeses and meats more than make up for this. Make sure you get there early because there is limited seating and you’ll want to have that perfect spot outside to people watch as the night passes!
